The shots you see here were never supposed to make it to the web or print.  I recently upgraded my camera body and purchased a new lens.  The idea was to take a few shots of the people I work with to see how well the new gear was/is performing.  What was just gear testing turned in to mini portrait sessions, prints and a black and white series.  After seeing the shots had potential, I had to go back and shoot some more.  It’s funny how things can take on a life of their own. 

All the shots were taken outdoors in natural light… no reflectors or lighting equipment. The camera and lens are performing very well so far.

I truly appreciate these great people and what they do for the Air Force and our country.  Thank you all for allowing me to photograph you in your element.  Keep up the great work!

A fun day out!  Even the dog had a good time with the shoot.  Some shot from this afternoon.  Kristy and I have had the great fortune of photographing Jacob’s family for the past couple of years.  This time around they had a new addition… Patrick… he is an exchange student from Germany.  I know from living in Germany… todays weather was slightly different than what Patrick is use to!
